The Historical Park is a cultural and historical tourist attraction that is ideal for a day trip. The complex is in the village of Neofit Rilski, which is only 33 kilometers from Varna. It consists of separate exhibitions about the way of life and culture in our lands dating back to antiquity, as well as cuisine featuring special dishes prepared using authentic ancient recipes.
The first section of the complex depicts prehistoric dwellings from the Chalcolithic and Neolithic periods (7th and 4th millennia BC). The Thracians are the focus of the second section. The temple of the goddess Cybele and King Seuthes III’s palace, the only restored Thracian palace in the world, can be found here. The next section is dedicated to the reign of the First Bulgarian Kingdom. It recreates the greatness of the warriors of that time.
